Teachings For The Electronic Brain

DJ Synaesthetics

Teachings for the Electronic Brain is an exploration of electronic music in all it's manifestations. Genres covered include, but are not limited to, (Minimal) Techno, Techno, Acid, (Progressive) House, (Psy/Progressive/Full-on) Trance, Electro, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, (Italo) Disco, Ambient, (Psy) Chill, and experimental electronica. Frequently guest DJ's make an appearance on the show, either through a pre-recorded exclusive mix, or a live performance in-studio or across the internet. Previous guest DJ's were hosted from (North-East) USA, The Netherlands, South-Africa, Canada, and Singapore. Both novice and more experienced DJ's or musicians are actively encouraged to submit their music for broadcast. The audience is not only exposed to the music, but also to the related subculture through active promotion of regional electronic music related events- club nights, live performances. Whether you want to stay at home and just listen, or whether you want to find out where you can go to see a live performance and dance the night away, Teachings for the Electronic Brain has something for everyone!
If you want to know more, or have a guest mix that you want to contribute, visit our Facebook page.

Synaesthetics have been involved with the electronic music and new media arts scene for over 20 years. They started out as passive listeners, but soon they became frequent visitors of festivals and events all over the world. They are actively involved in organizing new media art & electronic music related 'experiential' events, offering a platform for young and emerging artists to exhibit their work, and  the audience to experience new forms of art and music, as well as to learn from the artists how they could produce it themselves.
